From The Head of School

My objective as an international educator is to engage with all levels of the school community to effectively guide consolidation and development at this exciting stage of school history. I’m deeply motivated by this rich and meaningful opportunity to help forge the exceptional educational and life paths of children from Fontainebleau and around the world. As a global citizen, mother, Bellifontaine-French-American, and International Baccalaureate educator of learners at all levels, I’m committed to educational innovation.

My vision embraces bilingualism, academic excellence, community building and creativity. My role shall be to guide our team in unleashing the potential of youth in the classroom and in the world as our classroom, challenging our children to discover their own questions and passions and to become responsible, engaged leaders. Indeed, I believe in the words often attributed to the poet W.B. Yeats, « education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire. » My intention is to maximize the potential of others and nurture growth in a context of continuous improvement supported by the entire community of stakeholders. It will be a pleasure to meet you, field your questions and set out on this remarkable journey of learning together.
