Our Nursery program for children from 2 ½ to 6 years old brings together Francophone, Anglophone, Germanophone and children from diverse nationalities in small, caring groupings with trained early childhood educators. We encourage learning through play, discovery, fine motor skills development, small group socialization activities and a safe, comfortable nursery routine which includes outdoor recreation, circle time, reading, singing, snack time, meal time, naptime, art and discovery workshops as well oral and pre-writing language learning.
Teachers & Classes
Several of our nursery care givers were trained by the school’s founder Daniele Lemaire and uphold the approaches of Freinet, Decroly or Montessori, thereby encouraging children to actively engage in their construction of self and their development of curiosity, knowledge, autonomy and social relationships.
Our groupings are small and reassuring. Our caregivers promote the joyful, natural development of children who are curious, willing and able to express themselves, who take initiative and show responsibility. Our classes are happy, cozy and structured, promoting harmony, stability, and individual growth.
